This is (I think) the best of the best. This car was built by a product development engineer from GM and only has 12000 actual miles. I purchased this car in 1999 and later sold it, but bought it back in 2009. It has a NEW LS-1 engine, a brand new in the wooden crate Rockcrusher 4-speed, Currie 12 rear and even has a NEW 1958 Impala 4-speed shifter. The door jams, firewall, and inside the trunk still have the ORIGINAL paint. The underside of the car is still in the factory red oxide primer. Check out the picture of the factory rivets on the side of the hood. Even the rivets on the underside of the fender holding the inner fender brace look like new. He installed a new CARS Delrey interior, and added front disk brakes. Several of the parts are new NOS items that he found in GM warehouses. He stated that the bumpers were NOS but needed rechromiing due to being 40 plus years old. This car drives amazingly good and is always a head turner.
