1966 Chevelle Convertible. This car is not a SS but I added the new SS hood and had all emblems removed for a smooth look. I finished this car 5 years ago and it has a Cadillac vortec 6 liter engine that has been tuned to 292 horsepower at the rear wheels. It had a 4L-80 overdrive transmission and ford 9 inch rear end that has been shortened on each side to give room for the custom ordered 9" torque thrust wheels and 10.5 inch tires. New front disc brakes and all new rear brake system. Super straight body with an all new PUI interior and new Soffseal weatherstripping. New convertible top which is manually operated and has never been put down since installed. All new chrome throughout the car including bumpers, front end chrome, rear chrome, rocker moldings, and new lenses. New radiator, shroud, hoses, and heater core. Also added were the factory style guages and a retro-style AM-FM radio that is IPOD and MP-3 compatible.
