From being COLD to a 106 Heat index in one week. Biloxi was HOT! We arrived on Wednesday afternoon and waited until Thursday Morning to set up and it was almost unbearable. The humidity was so thick, it seemed you could cut through it with a knife. The wind was blowing from the South across the Gulf and no A/C made it awful. Cruisers were out in force along the 20 mile Gulf Coast. Cars shows in every motel parking lot and people cooking out all along the boulevard. Sales again were down but my personal enjoyment was playing poker at one of the casinos at night. Next up is the Emerald Coast Cruise in Panama City Fl. Nov, 12-14, then Moultrie, Ga. Nov. 20-22, before the last one in Daytona Beach Fl, Turkey Rod Run Nov. 26-29. |

| Fall Carlisle 09 (October 20, 2009) |

COLD, and a sinus infection greeted me at the annual Fall Carlisle. After all of the warm weather, it turned out cold this year and it seemed all of us got colds during or shortly after this years event. With 5 trucks and trailers at Carlisle, NO-ONE carries more Chevelle parts to Carlisle, than Ausleys Chevelle Parts. Sheet metal was the items mostly asked for and we did not disappoint as we have two locations to better serve our customers. Carlisle is still the best and we look forward to Spring 2010. |

| Fall Englishtown NJ 09 (October 20, 2009) |

After hearing the news that the recession was officially over we were optimistic about the sales in NJ. We were not dissappointed at this year the sales were up quite a bit. In 08 it rained all three days so without the rain, it had to get better. Whether you believe the recession is over or not sales were up and people were happy to carry them Chevelle parts home. After a harrowing experience getting to the show, a very thankful, thank you, goes out to J and W Nova Parts for getting our trailer to the show after a small bump-up caused our radiator to crack and had to be towed in around Washington DC. William, from J&W, drove 4 1/2 hours back from Englishtown to Washington and picked up our trailer and pulled it back to E-town for us. That is friendship that is worth more than words. If you EVER need Nova parts I strongly suggest J&W Nova Parts in Danville Va. |

Being an associate sponsor of the Super Chevy events, this years event was the climax of the Super Chevy events for 2009 and sales were brisk. Tennessee is a great place for Chevelles and the customers were out in force. Sales slipped about 10% this year but it was still a great weekend. Mike Davis and Charlie met many of our valued customers as this event closed out 2009 for Roger Gustin's Super Chevy series. |

| Shades of the past AND Grand Run in Pigeon Forge TN. (October 20, 2009) |

1000's of street rods converged in Pigeon Forge for the two weeks as Shades of the Past and The Grand Run, which ran in consecutive weeks. Ausleys was in force at both as Randy and Cort attended Shades, and Danny, Jimmy, Randy, Cort, Charlie and Me attended The Grand Run. Shades was down somewhat at Shades, but the Grand was wide open all weekend as sales hit a new record. Maybe the Recession is about over, at least for Chevelle parts. We always set up inside and outside at the Grand which gives our customers a choice and they do not have to wait in line. We always enjoy sitting in lounge chairs at night watching all of the cruisers up and down the main drag. |
