What a great event. 20 plus miles of cruising, the Gulf of Mexico in the background, thousands of cars, and hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts all in Biloxi Ms. We just sat on the back of the Renegade and watched as the cars cruised past until after mid-night. Street Rods, Fords, Chrysler products, Willys, Rat-Rods and of course Chevelles, were everywhere. Sales were not what we expected but we had a great time and experienced what I believe is the best cruise we have ever been too. People setting up tents on the side of the street, motorhomes on the coast line, people by the thousands in lounge chairs, it was unbelievable. For those of you who have witnessed the Woodward cruise this is the southern version. Bands downtown, and car shows in every motel parking lot, not to forget the burnouts when the police were not looking. a great event that we look forward to next year. |

| Fall Carlisle 2008 (October 21, 2008) |

Finally we were treated to good weather and the sales were great. Maybe the people from New Jersey waited to come to Carlisle but records were broken and the crowds were up as the economy in Chevelle parts was second to none. Sheetmetal and interior were the main parts leaving and many small items also were in demand. After all the news media complaining, as they do, it was pleasant to see people spending money restoring their Chevelles. We heard that quite a few cars changed hands over the weekend as people are investing in old cars instead of the stock market. Enjoy your passion and still make money on collector cars. Next it is down South to Biloxi Ms. for Cruising the Coast. |

WOW, More rain. It rained all four days in New Jersey and everything got wet. Diehard Chevelle enthusiasts still showed up to take advantage of high freight bills and pick up their parts at the show. Next up is Fall Carlisle and maybe the weather will get better. |

Rain once again played a role in the sales at Bristol as the drag racing never seemed to get going, and then it would rain again. Sales were good but not up to last years numbers but in all we are having a great year especially with what you see and hear on the news. |

Weathermen doomed the 08 Autofair by predicting gloom and doom from a hurricane that never made it west of Raleigh. Attendance was down and so were sales as many customers believed the KNOW IT ALL weathermen and never showed up. It rained only a trace and we had great weather all 4 days. The customers who showed up were treated to an array of Chevelle parts at the warehouse on wheels and deals were flowing.
